Today we were on the air again with Brad Snell in Newmarket on CHOP FM 102.7. The show is called "Out and About".

Once again I plugged our book "A very convenient Lie" by Glenn McKerron which talks about the true causes of glogal warming.

Out and About FM 102.7 with Brad Snell.

FM 102.7 is a station with backing by Chum FM / Toronto. It operates out of Pickering College in Newmarket. The range is limited to Newmarket and Aurora. They do however stream live to the internet but they do not archive their messages.

For the convenience of those that missed the program on January 19th, 2010 I have posted it to one of my servers so it can be listened to after the fact.

It's a one hour program. You can fast forward to the parts you want to hear. The first part of the show is an interview with Victor Woodhouse a town counsellor in Newmarket. He talked about a very important topic which is "OUT OF THE COLD".

In the second part of the program I covered a variety of topics with Brad starting with the CHP: Why I ran in the last election. Haiti. My wife and I were on a missions trip sponsored by Peoples church in the 70's there. And I brought up Right to Life and injustice being done by Human rights commissions.

The second project is a book entitled "the Church in a New Age".

This book will look at some of the internal and external pressures being brought to bear on the local church by the changing societal pressures of today. It's a book I wanted to write first before the Comparison of Newer Bible versions. I will post some of the actual book when it is a little further along.

Do you have Everlasting Life?

God our Saviour (Our Lord Jesus Christ, member of the Godhead.) wants you to spend eternity in a condition that is called eternal life (to be saved) and He wants you to know the truth. The truth is we are all going to exist forever but the truth also is that many, if not most, are not going to experience everlasting life.

The Bible says; Daniel 12 - ² And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

You will experience ‘everlasting contempt’ if you miss your opportunity to know the Lord Jesus Christ, His salvation and His plan for your life. The opportunity you have now during your life on earth to Know Him you will regret for eternity if you don’t take advantage of the opportunity while it is still offered to you. Now is the time that you have the opportunity to have the course of your eternal existence set in the right direction.

The Bible says; 2 Corinthians 5 – 6 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

If you are not certain that you have everlasting life then I recommend that you make it a matter of prayer that God will bring you to the point that you know this as a certainty. I suggest to everyone whether they know their eternal state for certain or not that they begin reading the Word of God from a worthy type of Bible, either a KJV easy reading edition with the “thee’s” and “thou’s” taken out or an actual King James Bible. Begin reading alternately starting in Genesis chapter 1 from the Old Testament and in Matthew chapter 1 in the New Testament. Pray that God will reveal himself to you personally. Seek God’s truths in His Word (the Bible). Pray for Him to reveal Himself to you. He wants to reveal Himself to you as He has done for many of His followers. You cannot come to Christ on your own merit. You cannot be good enough to be accepted into fellowship with Him. You must agree with him that you are unworthy and that you need his forgiveness to approach him.

The Bible says; Romans 3 – ²³For All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It also says; Romans 6 – ²³ For the wages of sin is death.

You must be willing to admit that you are dead and headed for a lost eternity. You must be willing to admit your need of salvation.

Daniel 12 – ¹ ... and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. ² And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. ³ And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

God created you as an eternal being, but He describes eternal existence as ‘everlasting contempt’ for some and ‘eternal life’ for others. Contempt would be because you missed your opportunity to know Him, Know His salvation and to know His plan for your life and for eternity while you were given a chance to set the course of your eternal existence. God says in His word that our opportunity to set this course happens during this lifetime and the course cannot be altered after the first death. The Bible warns of a second death which is to be greatly feared in Revelation 20 but you will notice that those who are recorded in the Book of Life are pardoned.

Revelation 20 - ¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴ Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵ And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

What is really important for you is that your name becomes written in the Lamb’s book of Life. The Bible says we are dead in our trespasses and sins. It tells us that God has remedied this situation for us by having our sins paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everlasting Life is granted by the Lord Jesus only.

To understand God’s offer to have our sins paid for, we must first understand who the Lord Jesus Christ is, that He could make this offer.

John 1 – ¹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. …¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: ¹³ who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The following riddle was given in the Old Testament, over 500 years before the birth of Christ.

Proverbs 30 - ⁴ Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?

Jesus answered this riddle;

John 3 - ¹³ No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. ¹⁴ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, ¹⁵ that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ¹⁸ “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

There was the answer to a second riddle embedded in his message. In the Old Testament the Jews while in the wilderness complained of snake bites. They asked God to take them away or to stop the snakes from biting. God’s response was to tell them to tell Moses to make a snake of brass and erect it on a pole. Whenever anyone gets a snake bite they were to look to the pole and they would live. In the same way God tells us today that he won’t exempt us from life’s sorrows but he will give us eternal life if we look to the Lord Jesus Christ who has been lifted up on a cross. [9]

The Apostle Paul explains that the Lord Jesus Christ was able by his death and resurrection to reconcile us to God. God is holy and man is sinful. Our sin problem has to be resolved before we can enter into God’s holy presence.

2 Corinthians 5 - ¹⁵ and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. …¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. ¹⁸ Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, ¹⁹ that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. ²⁰ Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. ²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Two things God desires for you

Jesus promised to send His disciples (which would include any who will follow Him today) a member of the Trinity called the Comforter and the Spirit of Truth will indwell you forever! The Bible says you can have a new spiritual beginning that will allow you to see the kingdom of God.

John 3 - ³ Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus said; John 14 – ⁶… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me. … ¹⁵ If you love me, keep my commandments. ¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ¹⁷ Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. ¹⁸ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. ¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, ye shall live also. ²⁰ At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. ²¹ He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (CKJV)

The first purpose of the indwelling presence of the Spirit of Truth is to guarantee our salvation from the lake of fire.

Ephesians 1 - ¹³ In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴ who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,

The second purpose for the indwelling presence of God the Holy Spirit is to comfort you and to guide you into all truth as you learn God’s words. As you obey God’s words Jesus promises that the other two members of the Godhead; the Father and the Son will be manifested in your lives. The full Godhead will radiate from you in such a way that others will know it around you. You will radiate light as you are drawn to the light which comes from Christ.

John 12 - ³⁶ While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.”

Isaiah 55 - ¹¹ So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. ¹² “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Your experience as a follower of God; one who has invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come into their life and to dwell with you forever and one that studies His words and obeys them, will be one of joy. And that joy will seem to you as if crazy things are happening all around you. God will turn your sorrow into laughter. God will wipe every tear as you diligently seek Him. A Christian chorus says; “You ask me how I know He lives. He lives within my heart.” If you confess your sins God our Saviour will make you a new creature as promised.

The Bible says; 1 John 1 - ⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Jesus said; 1 John 5 - ¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. ¹² He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. ¹³ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,

The invitation is extended to all who will open up dialogue with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus says; Revelation 3 – ²⁰ Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and dine with him and he with me. [10]

After that, the further condition that you Obey God will result in the living presence of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ himself will be manifested in you. How can you obey God if you don’t read His instructions? Therefore you must also take the time to study and get to know our Lord Jesus Christ in the light of His words that we have recorded in the Bible.

Read these 2 verses again from the John 3 passage;

John 3 - ¹⁵ If you love me, keep my commandments....²¹ He that has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves Me: and he that loves Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.

God desires two things of you which will prepare you to Manifest Christ in your life.

1 Timothy 2 - ³ For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, ⁴ who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ⁵ For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, ⁶ who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

For the two things to happen, which are to be saved and to come to know the truth, you must first come to the one Mediator the Lord Jesus Christ. No priest, No church leader can substitute for your coming directly to Him. Approaching Him is done by prayer. You may not know what to say to Him. Ask Him: He will give you the words. Confess your need of Him and invite Him to take over your life.

The Bible says that; Proverbs 27 – ¹⁷ Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. (CKJV)

[10] If you read the whole passage it was written to the last of the seven churches. It actually indicates that our Lord Jesus Christ is in a position of having been locked out of a lukewarm, apostate type of church: a church which He says makes Him want to vomit: a church which has need to cleans it’s eyes as it cannot see and which has become wealthy but lacks the need for our Lord Jesus Christ. He is patiently knocking at the door of that church asking if they will let Him in. You may have a life which is in similar disrepair but our Lord wants you to let Him in to you as well. He wants to make something beautiful of your life.

How we got the Bible and how we know it is the word of God

For some it is hard to believe the Bible because of all the errors that they have heard are in it. This book will help to show the way to the Bibles that can be trusted not to have the errors that are purported. Fulfilled prophecy is one way that we know the Bible is a trustworthy document. But what we want to also dispel is the myth that the Bible only contains the words of God but not every word of the Bible is the word of God. Newer Bibles lead many to believe by their commentaries and footnotes and in various ways that we do not have a correctly transmitted word of God: that there are errors we are still trying to figure out. There seems to be many versions of the English Bible Today, and it seems to many that no one knows what the exact words are that God has spoken to us.

We are going to show that for many Bibles the words have been altered and for many other Bibles the words have not been altered. We hope to convince you which type of Bible represents the unaltered word of God that has been made available to all generations: the type of Bible that can be trusted: and will give you the very words of God.

The Bible is a collection of writings that were written over a 1600 year period of time by 39 different authors, most of whom had never met each other. The Bible has a rather unique way of proving that it is the very word of God. This way is not shared with any other religious writings: It’s called prophecy. Approximately 24% of the Bible contains future telling prophecies, of which approximately one half (12% of the Bible) have already been fulfilled and approximately one half (12% of the Bible) await future fulfillment. The prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled, in such a way that there have been fresh fulfillments, all across history. In this way God could get our attention, in no matter which generation we live, in order to get us to listen to the other 76% of His instructions, which the Bible reveals to us. There has never been a Bible prophecy that can be proven to have failed. And opposite to the belief of many, the Bible has some very specific prophecies. [1]

Moses earned the right to be heard by prophecy

Moses, under God’s direction authored the first 5 books of our Bible. The first of these books ‘Genesis’ (the book of beginnings) reveals how God created all material and spirit things. We trust the things that were revealed to Moses as being true for one reason. Moses proved that he was a spokesperson for God by demonstrating 100% accurate short term knowledge of future events. Moses spoke God’s words to the ruler of Egypt telling him of ten plagues that would befall him each one ahead of time, and each thing he declared happened. Moses also demonstrated that God was willing to answer his prayers by the splitting of the Red Sea and water coming forth from a rock and the providing of Manna to feed the people. Because of his 100% accuracy Moses became fully trusted by his peers as God’s spokesperson. Later Moses received the Ten Commandments while on Mount Sinai and he wrote five books which the Jews kept and revered as God’s word. Many of his longer term prophecies regarding the Jewish nation are still coming true today. [2]

The Canon of Scripture

God then revealed through Moses many other things he wanted the Jewish people to know about Himself: and the Jews kept everything he wrote because of the many proofs that God had given through him by fulfilled prophecy. Later, other prophets also demonstrated with 100% accuracy the ability to tell future events and so the Jewish people kept and revered their writings also and added them to what became called “the Canon of Scripture” (books which the Jews were willing to be ruled by.) [3] By the time of Jesus’ Birth 37 books were determined to be “Canon of Scripture” by the Jews. Shortly after Jesus death and resurrection two more books (Esther and Song of Solomon) were accepted at the counsel of Jamnia in A.D. 95. These form the Old Testament portion of the Bible today. To these books, 27 more were added that record the life and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ which are called the New Testament. Many of the Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah (‘the Christ’) have their fulfillment recorded in the New Testament. The Bible is now complete and there is no longer any reason to add to it. The Bible itself contains a prophecy regarding its own completion.

1 Corinthians 13 – ⁸… But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. ⁹ For we know in part and we prophesy in part. ¹⁰But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

There are two major subjects of Prophecy which are recurring themes in the Bible; 1)Prophecies regarding the Messiah. Approximately half of these were fulfilled by Jesus’ first coming and half of them are yet to be fulfilled at His promised second coming. 2) Prophecies regarding the Jewish Nation.[4]

Prophecies fulfilled by the Christ’s first coming.

Some object that the prophecies were well known and thereby could be purposely fulfilled by any who wished to fulfill them. They point to the fact that many others came, claiming to be the Messiah at Jesus’ time.

How difficult would it be for someone to fulfill the Messianic Prophecies? Here are some of the criteria that the Messiah had to fulfill; The coming Messiah would be born of a Virgin in Bethlehem[5] do miracles[6] be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver[7] that would be cast to the floor in the temple and then used to buy a cemetery for strangers[8] rejected by his own people[9] crucified[10] be raised from the dead on the third day.[11] The most astounding and compelling prophecy of them all that top’s the list of prophecies is one that was given exactly 483 years before its fulfillment: It was a prediction that the Messiah would be killed in exactly 483 years after the prophecy was given. And this prophecy was fulfilled in the year AD 32. This is highly significant because it rules out any other person from possibly being the Messiah. Many came before and after Christ claiming to be the Messiah but we know only the Lord Jesus Christ can possibly be the one because of this most exacting prophecy.[12]

Daniel 9 - ²⁵ “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; … ²⁶ “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;

The word for ‘weeks’ in the Hebrew literally means ‘seven’. In this case the meaning is not days but years.[13] The Messiah was to be cut off (killed) exactly (62+7) x 7 years = 483 years after the command to rebuild Jerusalem was given. That command was given in the month of Nisan in the 20^th year of the reign of Artexerxes Longimanus, which was 445 BC.[14] It was fulfilled in AD 32 during the Month of Nissan on the 10^th day.[15] This is the traditional day when the Lamb was selected for the Passover Observance. It was then watched for 4 days and then offered as a sacrifice, if it was found perfect. Our Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on the 10^th day of Nisan and was crucified on the 14^th day of Nisan. This fulfilled yet another prophecy.

Zechariah 9 - ⁹ “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.

The Bible predicted Israel’s rebirth as a nation

One example of Bible prophecy that was fulfilled very recently: it was the prediction that Israel would once again become a nation. The prophecies regarding this were made two times in scripture, over 2500 years ago;

Deuteronomy 30 – ³ ... the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. (KJV)

Ezekiel 17 – ¹¹ ... Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel’ (KJV)

Skeptics both inside and outside the church had ridiculed these Bible predictions in each generation, until finally in 1948 Israel once again became an independent nation. It took 2554 years, since the time of the Babylonian takeover of 606 BC, for these prophecies to come true. In all that time God did not forget to keep His promise. The recent fulfillment of these prophecies are undeniable and leave our generation with no excuse for not believing in God’s word the Holy Bible.

Some skeptics claim that the New Testament is a hoax and that Jesus never existed. The answers to this objection are; 1) the Jews thought Jesus existed when they met in AD 95 (just 63 years after His death and resurrection) at the council of Jamnia, which was held in Jerusalem to seek ways to stop Jews from becoming His followers. 2) If the Bible was a hoax then how does one explain the prophecies that are currently being fulfilled? 3) One must also explain why the followers of Jesus were willing to lose their lives to tell a lie? The Apostle Peter was nailed to a cross upside down and ten of the other apostles were also martyred for not recanting their testimony of having seen ‘the Christ’ Resurrected from the dead. [16] The New Testament wasn’t ghost written centuries later by second hand accounts: It was written by eyewitnesses.

Some skeptics have claimed that the Old Testament was altered by the Christians. The answer to this objection is that in the late 1940s copies of the Old Testament dating to 200 BC of the Greek Septuagint and 500 BC of the Hebrew texts were found in the caves of Qumran. It is impossible therefore for Jesus or his followers to have altered the prophecies.[17] These DSS Scriptures agree with the ones that we have in our Bibles today. This proves that the Bible has been accurately transmitted over 2200 years in its copying when it comes to the Old Testament. The prophecies were not altered in any way. Therefore we ought to have no shadow of a doubt that the Bible is the word of God and that the Lord Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, having walked on earth among us because of these fulfilled prophecies. (The Gospel Truth or the Gospel of the Secular Humanist)

The Gospel Truth - The word 'gospel' simply means 'good news'. The word gospel is a word that is so tightly used of the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ that it is usually understood to mean 'the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ'. The phrase 'gospel truth' indicates the dependability of that good news; 'The truth of the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ'. The first four books of the New Testament of the Christian Bible are called gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) as they contain the good news testimonies of eyewitnesses who describe the life biography of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Other Gospels - There are however 'other gospels' that are warned about in the Bible. Secular Humanism has provided 'other gospels' which the bible makes reference to. Christ opposed the Secular Humanist world view in His teachings. What he had to say was diametrically opposed to the viewpoint of Secular man today. Unfortunately even Christians are greatly influenced by Secular teachings and they often are unknowingly opposed in their viewpoint to the viewpoint of Christ.

The Secular Gospel of Evolution - One of the 'other gospels' we have briefly begun to discuss under the topic "What is ICC Truth". That topic is 'Evolution'. This doctrine is diametrically opposed to the Bible's doctrine of 'Creation'. This gospel offers 'good news' to Secular Humanists who do not wish to worship a Creator. The Secular Gospel of Psychology - (There are some aspects of Psychology which involve clinical research which is useful in understanding how people behave but the aspect we wish to address here is that of Psychotherapy. Psychotherapy is basically the aspect of talking about ones problems and helping people to cope using teachings which are foreign to the 'gospel truth' which were invented by atheists.)
The founding father of modern Psychology 'Sigmund Freud' referred to himself as a godless Jew. He was an atheist who was also a medical doctor. He did not agree that people suffering depression should receive their counselling from religious people. In fact in his writings he talked about repressions which were caused by religion which must be overcome. He saw one of the biggest problems that people have as guilt. He felt that if only a person could be made free from their conscience which accused people of their wrong doings they could be truly happy. Much of Freud's journalling was his attempt to face his own problems. It is thought that he himself may have been sexually abused as a child. He was obsessed with childhood sexuality of children under age 5 and had theories about lust for ones parents by underage children. Freud suffered bouts of depression all his life. Freud developed theories that he felt would cure depression, he even tried cocaine and prescribed to to some of his patients but he was never able to cure his own depression. In later life he committed doctor assisted suicide rather than face dying a slow and painful death brought on by throat cancer. This is ironic because one of the greatest fears used by Psychologists today to convince non-professionals that they should not counsel people suffering from depression is that the persons they are counselling could commit suicide and they will be guilty if they did not refer them for 'professional' counselling. It should be noted that 'Jung' also considered as one of the founding fathers of Psychology also committed doctor assisted suicide.

Comparing the various gospel 'good news' messages - The 'good news' (gospel) claimed by modern Psychotherapy is that man is basically good by nature and with the right mix of 'professional' counselling he is able to solve his own problems by talk therapy. There is nothing morally wrong with good people, their problems can be solved if we can release them from their feelings of guilt until recently explained as having been caused by their 'God given conscience' whose job it is to accuse them of their wrong doing. Freud devised his own explanation replacing the conscience with his contrived 'Ego', 'Id', and 'the subconscious' etc. There is no science to prove these exist other than in the imagination of Freud and the belief of his followers. The bottom line however is that Freud was able to devise a scheme by which the conscience could be explained as an evil within men that is only supportable by false teachings by religious people. The Bible teaches there is a conscience also called the 'spirit in a man' that God places it in a person to be their personal judge of the morality of their thoughts and activities. 27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart. (Proverbs 20:27). Also 14 .... these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. (Romans 2:14-16).

From the viewpoint of 'Gospel Truth';

we will be held accountable for our obedience to the laws of God. We will have no excuse if we've lived lives that ignore the conscience which God has given to every man.
becoming free of repression, which translates into freedom from obeying God's laws according to the judgement of the conscience God has given to everyone, will only result in God's final judgement.
therefore the teachings of Psychology and Secular Humanism as expressed in the teachings of Freud's Humanistic Psychology are diametrically opposed to the traditional Judeo Christian teachings which are derived from the Bible.

Psychotherapy tries to put a band aid on what the bible calls sin. It does this by trying to help the patient find out where his 'repressions' come from. The counsellee is encouraged to talk about every sin that has been done against them in the past including teachings which are designed to make them feel guilty. Then the counsellee is instructed that they must do something to confront whoever sinned against them in order to 'let go' of the repression that they feel. The repression they feel is what the bible calls sin. Yes the sins of others may have been a contributing factor to a persons feelings of repression but they also have their own sins to deal with. By digging up the past nothing is done to cleanse the sinner. The method employed by Psychotherapy can be likened to continuous pealing of a scab before it has done its job of allowing the tissues under it to heal. Psychotherapy deceptively seek to build up ones 'self-esteem' by telling them that they have no sin, the feelings they are experiencing are repressions caused by others. Every attempt of Psychotherapy is to teach people that they are worthy (only they call it feelings of self-worth).

The bible has a different solution to man's sin. (sin may be defined as missing the goal that God has set for us. A person aware of their sin is aware of their unworthiness. The bible clearly claims that people must become aware of their unworthiness in order to have their conscience made clean. 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Heb 9:14).

Rather than justifying our wrong doings the bible says we ought to agree with God that we are guilty vile sinners in need of his forgiveness. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9).

The bible says we all have sinned that there is no one that hasn't sinned. 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23a).

The bibles answer to sin is confession, not psychotherapy and witch hunts to find out who has sinned against us. The bible expects everyone to take account of their own sins and to be seeking reconciled to each other and God himself by confession. The bible tell us that all who are reconciled to God are to be agents of His reconciliation to our fellow man. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:16-20).

To give counsel to people there is only one requirement given by the bible. We must ourselves have experience reconciliation from God of our sins. Being reconciled to God also entails doing our part to be reconciled to others. Then we are told that we are ambassadors of reconciliation to others. The conscience tells us of our need for reconciliation. Psychotherapy looks for ways to turn off the messages from our conscience. We are told that we should not listen to our conscience; In fact we are told to be guided by our 'subconscious'; something which cannot be proven to exist. Psychotherapy will help a person to feel good about themselves by turning off the neurotransmitters which are telling them that something is wrong about themselves. There are a whole class of Psychotropic drugs now being prescribed to people to help turn off these transmitters in their brains. Basically what they are doing is deadening their conscience from speaking to them and dulling their minds in the process. In the name of balance they are throwing their brains out of chemical balance in order to block the messages of low self-esteem that are the result of sin. These messages that we receive from our conscience are like a tooth-ache that tells us there is a problem. We can either address the problem by having our conscience cleansed or we can solve it by deadening the conscience. 2 ... having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, (1 Timothy 4:2).

The word Pharmakia from which we get the word pharmacy is used 4 times in the Bible. It is the word translated in the KJV bible as sorcery. The bible expects us to repent (turn away from) of sorcery and any other sins if we are to be reconciled with God but it predicts that people will rarely do this. Drugs should be the last resort with the intention of removing them as quickly as possible. The best solution is to have good endorphins being transmitted naturally which are caused by having a clean conscience. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality.... (Revelation 9:20-21).

Not only is a clean conscience important for this life but it is important for all eternity. It is so important to have a clean conscience that God was willing to offer the ultimate sacrifice for us who are unworthy in order that we might be cleansed from all our unworthiness (the bible calls it unrighteousness) and that we might enter into right relationship with God. The bible presents this as the solution to all problems known to man pertaining to the soul (greek word for soul is Psyche. Freud knew what he was doing when he used the word Psyche to describe the Science falsely so-called that he was inventing.) For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. (Hebrews 10:2).

Truly this is good news! We have no need to sear our conscience by the aid of Psychotherapy! This is one aspect of the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Only One Gospel - The bible is clear that it is diametrically opposed to man's solutions for the soul. There is only one 'True Gospel'. 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. (Galatians 1:6-10).

A word of warning - If you have been currently receiving Pschotropic drugs under the care of a Psychologist or Psychiatrist I recommend that you find counsel from a church Pastor who can work with your professional healthcare worker to wean you off these drugs. Because your body is used to the drugs any sudden departure from them can cause you to experience severe withdrawl symptoms which you will require help to accomplish. It is now the case that withdrawl from medication or overdosing on medication accounts for more than half of all drug-related deaths in the USA. Proceed with caution. Unfortunately almost all churches have bought into Psychotherapy today they even boast of something called "Christian Psychology". What is ICC Truth?

The full name for "ICC Truth" is International Christian Crusade Truth. We realize that the word 'crusade' has connotations which today are not politically correct, however please realize that our organization was founded over 50 years ago when political correctness was not ever heard of. The word at that time had come to mean doing battle with ideologies, not with a sword. We have no intentions of inciting bigotry or hostility towards any people by using this name. Please do not read into our organization anything between the lines or associate us with things we do not represent.

International Christian Crusade is an organization which made its primary goal to counter the false teaching of Evolution. There is a flagship book that this organization put in the hands of many students over the past 50 years called "Evolution, Science Falsely So-Called". This book was written by a prominent Doctor who wished during his lifetime to remain unnamed. His book quotes from many scientific journals showing the many contradictions made by "Official Science" regarding this topic. 'Official Science' tends to be the ones that get media attention. There is much science that counters 'Official Science' which tends to cause early termination of ones career if one participates in it. We suspect that this was the main reason the author of this book needed to remain anonymous during his lifetime. Now, however we have decided to reveal that his name is "Dr. Howett", past director of "999 Queen Street" in Toronto. The institution although it no longer exists, is still highly regarded by those that know of its past exhisitance for its work with people suffering from depression and other mental health related issues. We believe Dr. Howett would have been a victim of discrimination if he went public during his lifetime. This same discrimination applies today only much more so. The late Dr. Howett is now in a position where discrimination can no longer hurt his cause, but instead it can be helpful to continue promoting it by now bringing the prominance of this books author to light. In fact one of our goals as an organization, going forward, is to speak out about such discrimination by our Secular Humanist Society in which we live.

To Dr. Howett's credit this book "Evolution, Science falsely so called" was put in the hands of over 250,000 persons during his lifetime; then the book went out of print. We have recently brought it back into print and we feel that it will continue once again to have a large impact on its readers. Dr. Howett by showing the inconsistencies in published journals in his book helps the reader to understand that this doctrine of Evolution is actually on very shaky ground. At the time the book was written, however DNA Science had not yet matured. We intend to have a further book available soon which discusses the more modern advance of DNA Genetics. This book however is a classic which is well worth reading as a primer to all the prior fields of investigation which have been explored to support the theory of Evolution, for both those who have chosen the Sciences as their major in University and also for those have not chosen science as their major but who would like to know what has transpired among scientists regarding this fascinating theory and especially why there are many scientists today who are refuting it.

The reason early on International Christian Crusade (ICC) targeted Evolution was it was understood that this doctrine is a dangerous one that has spawned the likes of Hitler's Arian Nation, Stalin's Communist Russia, The Humanist Manifesto which is adhered to in North America by the public school systems, the media and to a large extent the elected official governments and court systems accross North America. The U.N. has stated that "Secular Humanism" is a religion. The Humanist Manifesto is the faith statement for this religion. Many have never read it but it is taught to our educators and by extention to each generation of Americans and Canadians who are subject to the publicly funded education systems in both Countries. Brian Dewey introduced the teachings of the Humanist Manifesto to the educations system shortly after the second world war. Great disrespect for authority, rampant use of drugs, free sex, free abortions, loss of freedoms of speech and religion have all been logical outcomes of this most dangerous religion which has taken hold of the western world. One of the tennants of Secular Humanism is that it is not a religion. But not only is it a religion but it is one that wishes to wipe out all other religions. In that aspect it is radical and could have the term applied Fundamentalist to it, as a bad connotation as it has become in reference to Radical Fundamentalist Muslim faith today. When you consider the current hollocoast in the western world of the millions of babies who have been sacrificed at the alter of Mollech by worshippers of this religion of Secular Humanism, the problems of Terrorists attacking us from outside our borders pales by comparison.

second disk - .MP3 format, contains over 400 additional hours of audio messages on various topics regarding skepticism and modern day influences on the church.
The first disk is free but we are asking 5.00 for the second disk which is not free + 7.00 shipping and handling as the package is larger in an attractive DVD 2 Disk Box with some inserted materials.

ICC is both a Canadian and USA Registered Charity. These materials are not considered eligable for tax receipt purposes. However if you wish to help our ministry with a gift beyond the materials ordered or if you wish to order our materials for free distribution in quantity we can issue a tax receipt for gifts above 50 dollars and more.

Much of our materials are distributed free of charge. We try to send materials free of charge to missionaries and requestors from third world countries. Support to our organization helps us to do this. We also have many expenses in trying to get these materials in the hands of students on University campuses which you can help to defray.

Ask God if He is real and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. I made this challenge to a man many years ago who was an illicit drug user and far from belief in God. I told him that Jesus says, Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and sup with him and he with me. (Rev 3:20) My friend Sandy took me up on this challenge many years after I made it to him. He recontacted me and invited me to visit his church. It's a good thing I went. I married one of the girls that I met through that invitation.

It's a simple thing to take God up on his offer. You need to decide that you want it. Then you need to persue it. I don't know anyone who denies knowing God once they have met Him. In fact there is a history of people who lost their lives as martyrs becasue they wouldn't deny it. There are people this very day who have lost their life for not denying it.

Ray has had a professional career as a problem solver. As an Information Systems Management Consultant for the past 24 years, Ray has had a lot of experience in dealing with the business community both in the private and public sectors. Clients of Ray’s in no particular order have included the Ministry of Revenue, Workers Compensation Board, Workers Health and Safety Board, the CRTC, Ministry of Social Services, Ministry of Transportation, Ontario Lotteries Corporation, Ontario Hydro, Sears Canada, Chubb Securities, CIBC, Wood Gundy, Royal Trust, Royal Bank Securities, Accenture, IBM, the Permanent, Guarantee Trust, EDS Canada, FEDEX USA, NEC USA, EDS USA, Cigna USA and many others.

Additionally, Ray has some direct retail experience, as he and partners owned and operated a computer store for 5 years in the 80's on Bay Street, Toronto.

Ray and his wife Valerie and family have lived in Newmarket for the past 19 years. They have 3 teenage children. Ray’s wife Valerie has held a position as a Registered Nurse for 29 years. Her insights having dealt with the needs of people over the years are an invaluable asset to Ray.
